    Creatief Verdwalen #41

A video podcast recorded in the studio, about the work, the making, and what art does in a life.

    What are sound-absorbing paintings?

Artworks built with sound-absorbing materials, to improve the acoustics of a room.

Hard, smooth surfaces in a room reflect sound. Windows, plastered walls and smooth floors make a room sound hollow. The result of that reflection is echo and reverberation.

  3. A film camera trained on an Arnhemse Iconen work in the studio.

Arnhemse Iconen & Airborne at the bridge

A new work in the Arnhemse Iconen series, around the John Frost bridge and the commemoration.

The John Frost bridge is the image that ties Arnhem most strongly to its history. In this series the bridge returns in Delft blue, alongside the Eusebius church, the Walburgis and the Rembrandt theatre.

  4. DoroART in de Gelderlander

An interview about the Arnhemse Iconen in Delft blue, on cards and paintings.

On 21 February 2019 an article about doroART appeared in de Gelderlander, written by Matilde Lentjes, with a photograph by Jan Adelaar.
