A round moon in grey and gold on the end wall of a hallway, opposite the mirror.

A hallway is the narrowest room in a house and usually the hardest: stone underfoot, doors on both sides, nothing to stop sound. It is also the first room anyone walks into.

The work hangs on the one wall you see from both ends, and the mirror opposite gives it back a second time.
